An Autumn Fable
Children from local choirs teamed up with
presenter, Åsne Sunniva Søreide to provide a magical afternoon for the whole family. The concert looked at Norwegian mythology with the help of established composers with the usual surprises that make these concerts so popular.
The Big Wide World II
This was a follow up to the previous seasons success, featuring music, dance and poetry from the four corners of the world. It was a joint project with Bergen International Centre for Culture and was presented by The Bosnian actress Aida Softic and her theatre group, MaxuM1.
The Magic Lantern
Presented by a well known Swedish mime artist Martin Hasselgren…… `Martin is a film projectionist
and gets himself ready to show a new film. The cinema
is full and people have great expectations but unfortunately, nothing seems to work. He looks around, confused. Then he has an idea………. `
The concert was based on the entertainment industry
Circa 1920,where,through a series of fantasies we look at
film, dance, theatre, music and sport. The Conductor was Allan Withington.
