Bergen Byspill again, this time the conductor was Helge Haukås and the people responsible for the idea were Karin Stautland, Jarle Solheim and Jan Holden. A clown with a dream to conduct a symphony orchestra who meets many obstacles along the way. Composers represented included Stravinsky, Handel, Satie and Charlie Chaplin.

Rosenstjert, told us the story of one of the
worlds great composers, Antonio Vivaldi.
The programme was built up around `The Four Seasons` and featured soloists from the orchestra. Discreet lighting and stage settings made for a very intimate family concert. The conductor was Asher Fisch.
Rap, Reel and Riverdance.
Presented by Laila Kolve and Kjersti Wiik and conducted by Ingar Bergby. This concert focused on Celtic traditions from Ireland, through Scotland to the west coast of Norway. Our guests were SIAMSA ( Bergen Irish Dancers) and Andy Murphy on bagpipes.
Last Night of the Poms.
Yes... Poms! 150 children from various school choirs around Bergen joined us for a celebration of British music. All the usual elements were there, Pomp and Circumstance, Hornpipe etc. plus a small part of the musical `Oliver Twist`. 150 children making their entrance down the steps of the grieghall, dressed in old clothes, carrying paper plates and singing `Food Glorious Food` was extremely effective.
